NYT Writer Says Illegals Are BETTER Than Real Americans – What HE Proposed Next Is Absurd

A columnist of the New York Times wrote in an op-ed piece published Saturday saying that the United States belongs to immigrants because they make nation more powerful and that “lazy Americans” should be deported, The Daily Caller reports.

Bret Stephens, who is a former writer for the Wall Street Journal and now works for the New York Times, claims in his column that immigrants work harder, make more babies, create more jobs, and put forward more ideas.

He wrote, “The United States has too many people who don’t work hard, don’t believe in God, don’t contribute much to society and don’t appreciate the greatness of the American system.”

Stephens, who is an immigration advocate and a critic of President Donald Trump, said this description applies to many U.S. citizens whose families have been residing in America for generations.

“Maybe they should leave, so that we can replace them with new and better ones. Newcomers who are more appreciative of what the United States has to offer.”

He later admitted that what he really meant is that the “so-called real Americans” are the ones who voted for Trump, and that they should be deported en masse.
