The U.S. Navy officially shot down a Syrian warplane on Sunday after it bombed U.S.-led coalition forces.
The Syrian SU-22 warplane was shot down by a F/A-18E Super Hornet as a “show of force” after the Syrians bombed a group of Syrian Democratic Forces.
In response, the Russians threatened the U.S., saying that they would retaliate if they act aggressively again.
Things are getting interesting in the Middle East as the major powers continue to flex their military muscles. While the Russians are a formidable foe, it is hard to believe that they want to go to war with the U.S. over something as asinine as protecting Syrian interests.
One thing we can count on is the fact that President Donald Trump will not back down no matter what. He is committed to helping the Syrians overcome their murderous leader and he is committed to taking ISIS down, no matter what the cost.
What do you think of this latest development? Should we be worried?
