Actor Alec Baldwin pleaded guilty to a second-degree harassment violation in New York City this week.
The violation stems from a recent incident on the streets of New York in which Baldwin engaged in a physical scuffle with a man in Manhattan over a parking spot.
Baldwin, 60, also agreed Wednesday morning to attend an anger management course based on the district attorney’s recommendation.
He will also pay a mandatory surcharge of $120. The actor needs to provide proof of payment and show evidence that he attended the anger management course by March 27.
The “Boss Baby” star previously denied any wrongdoing in the November 2 incident over the parking spot.
Baldwin is an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump. He’s had run-ins with the law in the past; New York police previously detained him in 2014 for riding his bicycle in the wrong direction.
Baldwin was placed in handcuffs after he reportedly became belligerent and refused to identify himself in that incident.
The actor ranted on Twitter about it and even posted the name and badge number of the police officer who put him in cuffs.
“New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign,” the actor tweeted at the time.
