A Fox News host, Melissa Francis, just got reamed on Twitter for her dumb comment about Jussie Smollett, and rightfully so.
In response to Smollett getting busted for allegedly staging his own attack, Francis tweeted “So humiliating for #JussieSmollett I can’t help feeling for him.”
So humiliating for #JussieSmollett I can’t help feeling for him.

Wait, what? You feel sorry for Smollet? You’re worried he might be “humiliated?”
No conservative on the planet feels sorry for a guy who staged an attack designed to make Trump supporters look bad. Far as I’m concerned hope Smollett spends time in jail and hope his career is completely destroyed.
As you might expect Francis’s comment created a lot of anger and disbelief:
Don’t recall seeing your, “I can’t help feeling for innocent citizens that just happened to be wearing the wrong hat” tweet. 🙄 pic.twitter.com/dJrRSZ96Wi

Should Jussie Smollett go to jail, if found guilty of staging his attack?
Why feel for him? If he was complicit with this potential racist act, his career should be over.

What? He doubled and tripled down on this hoax without any regard for all the police resources being wasted, the social and political outrage he created over a very sensitive and raw issue in this nation.

You have to be kidding me. He has a choice to he same as we all of us. I will not feel for him unless he can prove that someone put a gun to his head and made him do it.

He lied on national TV and to cops, wasted police resources, and scapegoated millions of people whose politics he doesn’t like for a crime that didn’t happen, but no, he’s the real victim here.

My question is “why?” Why would you risk your reputation & career to manufacture an event & purposefully point it at Trump supporters. Can you hate a person(s) that much that you intentially frame them or was it just pure attention seeking?

I feel bad for those who have legitimate claims who may not be believed now.

Melissa Francis should be embarrassed by her stupid tweet and should apologize immediately.
