Senate Majority Chief Mitch McConnell (R. KY) obtained the homecoming welcome he deserved when he took the stage at a Household Farms Picnic in Kentucky over the weekend.
As McConnell, whose present approval score in Kentucky is hovering round 18-20%, took the stage to stump for the reelection of Republican Governor Matt Bevin, he was drowned out by a refrain of boos that finally was chants of “Moscow Mitch!”

Final week, McConnell publicly complained that the “Moscow Mitch” tag, tying him to Russian oligarchs and enabling the Russian hacking of our elections by refusal to take motion on election safety, deeply bothered him.
